I have been licensed as a clinical social worker for 13 years and I have over 20 years of experience in mental health. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Southern University A&M college and my Master's of Social Work degree from the University of Houston. I specialize in assisting individuals to cope with life's stressors, depression, and anxiety utilizing cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques. After each session with me as your clinician, you can expect to feel valued, heard and "lighter" as you will have a space to process your life stressors. I utilize a client-centered, solution-focused therapeutic approach. My specialties include women's issues and issues surrounding people of color.
