Thank you for choosing me to be your counselor. This document is designed to inform you about my background and to ensure that you understand our professional relationship. I received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Christian University in 2003. I am licensed by the State of Texas as a Professional Counselor. As a counselor I am willing to work with adults and children. I can provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling. In counseling I understand people from an Adlerian perspective, which means I view individuals holistically, taking into account their past, their family, their values, and their environment. Throughout the counseling process I will use various techniques to help my clients achieve their therapeutic goals. I firmly believe that for counseling to be successfully both the client and the counselor need to work together throughout the counseling process.
