It takes courage to ask for help in difficult times, but we all need support at different moments in our lives. I am a bilingual licensed psychologist, and I have been working with children, adolescents and families for more than a decade. I specialize in areas including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mourning and separation. Immigration, trauma, transgenerational trauma and identity have been specific areas of interest. My treatment approaches are: Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Interpersonal and solution focused brief therapy, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques in an integrative approach. I utilize Play therapy, bibliotherapy and sand tray techniques when working with children, with an emphasis on parent-child work. I understand psychotherapy as a private and safe space to reflect on issues that may be affecting you and make the changes needed to feel better with yourself, family, and other relationships.
