I have been in social services field for over 20 years. I have worked with clients experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities and severe and persistent mental illnesses. I often times works with those experiencing co-occurring disorders. Over the last two decades, I have assisted children and adults in group home settings, residential treatment facilities, and community-based settings. My career progressed and has moved from a direct support professional to a case manager to a clinical therapist to supervisory and quality assurance work.
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Ursuline College and a Master’s in Social Service Administration (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University. As a clinical social worker, I currently focuses on facilitating individual and family therapy, with a focus on Motivational Interviewing (MI), Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
