As a therapist, I strive to help you feel safe, seen and understood. I provide culturally sensitive, affirming mental health support to help you navigate life’s challenges and feel more empowered to achieve your goals. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has worked in mental health for over five years. I work with clients experiencing: depression, anxiety, work stress, grief/loss, relationship issues, life and career transitions, race and/or gender-based trauma. To me, therapy is an opportunity to heal and grow--gain greater understanding and compassion for yourself and others. I believe in a holistic approach--addressing mind, body and soul. My practice draws from attachment theory, narrative therapy, mindfulness practices, person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
