I enjoy working with adults in individual and couple/relationship therapy. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and genuine. In my practice, I combine experience, education, and creativity with a sense of humor and a down-to-earth, realistic approach. I specialize in trauma focused interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Flash Technique. With over 7 years of experience in working in the field of trauma, I want to help you find healing. I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices that include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), The Gottman Method, and EMDR to create a tailored approach for each individual or couple and their situation. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy gardening, hiking, yoga, and time outdoors in the beautiful Black Hills, where I live with my husband and two dogs. While I live in South Dakota, I am licensed in South Dakota, Massachusetts, Maine, and the District of Columbia.
