I received my Masters in Social Work, Planning, and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University have over 20 years of experience in the field of social work, advocating and serving people with disabilities in their community. I have extensive experience working with children and adults assisting them in both English and Spanish. I received my undergraduate degree in Studio Art from Mary Washington and also work as an accomplished artist. My love for art and social work is the focus of my practice. I work in the expressive arts and EMDR and am working towards certification in both. I believe in the healing power of art and its use in mental health recovery. Art allows us to bring about change inside ourselves and can support you as you move through your distress. I believe that recovery is always possible. If you are looking for recovery and change I invite you to reach out to me, be well.
