The world outside is a reflection of the world inside. Understanding how your history connects to your current values, beliefs, thoughts, and actions will serve as a foundation to inhabit moments more presently, feel more deeply, and respond more mindfully. I want to join you in curious exploration of your inner world to find what’s real. Prior to clinical psychology, I studied Acting at Temple University and NYU and pursued creative endeavors in music, modeling, and acting for many years which brings a unique perspective to my therapeutic work. I have experience in community mental health, university counseling, university athletics, dual diagnosis inpatient, and UCLA’s Aftercare program for first-episode schizophrenia. I use a consilient approach, drawing from psychology, neurology, sociology, and philosophy while incorporating experience from my multicultural upbringing and background in the arts. I believe in the uniqueness of each individual and that consideration for all aspects and facets of one’s life is necessary for a true and deep understanding. It is from a place of curiosity and discovery that client’s can begin to reach their treatment goals, which are sometimes connected to external change but often go far beyond behavior modification. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, and couples. I am passionate about identity development, relational concerns, life changes, performance and creativity, existentialism, mood and anxiety, and trauma.
