Hi, I'm Sara! I believe that connection is key to feeling less alone in this world. Getting curious about past experiences and core values can help us create a life that feels aligned and authentic. I work with people who are going through life transitions and want to learn healthy coping skills for better managing mental health symptoms, relationships, and stress. I help my clients establish boundary setting and communication skills to help build and maintain mutually fulfilling healthy relationships. Therapy can be a vulnerable and transformative experience — my goal is to be by your side as you figure out what feels best for you!
I have experience working with a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, chronic illness/pain, relationship challenges, life transitions, and women's issues. I have specialized training in supporting people who currently use or have a history of using substances and their families. I am a proud harm reduction advocate.
My approach is curious and caring with the goal of creating a peaceful, intentional space for you to get to know yourself better. Although the work we do in session can be challenging, I am confident that we will find moments of levity and laughter, as well. You don’t have to feel 100% ready to get started — I’ll meet you exactly where you are!
