I'm Sara Steiner and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I entered this field with the goal of helping others find peace and happiness in their lives. Over the last 10 years, I have had the privilege of supporting adolescents and adults to improve their quality of life through better emotional regulation, symptom management, and improved communication. I have experience with a variety of diagnoses, including Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, and Schizophrenia. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which are evidence-based practices that can aid in a reduction of anxious and depressive symptoms. I believe that therapy should be a relaxed, friendly, and safe place to explore yourself. I believe in the power of humor and positivity. If you are ready to make a change for the better, then send me a message. I am currently accepting patients through telehealth and have a flexible schedule to accommodate yours. Open to working with children ages 11 and older.
