I am an LPC committed helping individuals develop healthy coping skills to manage life's more challenging situations. I started out in the corrections and realized that people who found themselves entangled in the legal system were not bad people, just people that didn't have the tools to navigate life. This holds true for anyone, not just people with addictions or who end up in trouble. I have a passion to empower and help people discover the inner strengths they already possess. I take a collaborative approach to help clients reach their goals. It's my belief that individuals have the innate ability to foster their own healing process. Sometimes a little guidance is helpful and all one may need to address stress, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, etc. I use evidenced based treatment modalities to include CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to name a few. I can also use a faith based approach to help you move toward the wholeness and healing that you so desire in your life.
