Hi, I’m Shontell, and I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen and heard. Whether you’re navigating the heavy fog of depression, adjusting to a major life transition, facing anxiety that won’t let you rest, or struggling with career uncertainty or relationship conflicts—you're not alone. I'm here to help you sort through the chaos and reconnect with your strength, clarity, and sense of purpose. Let me formally introduce myself. I graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University, earning my bachelor's degree in psychology. I went on to further my education by obtaining a Master of Education in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. For the past six years, I’ve worked as an advocate for individuals with disabilities. My passion, combined with professional knowledge and genuine compassion, allows me to bring both understanding and realism into my therapeutic work. I began my journey as a community therapist in 2022, working with adolescents, young adults, and couples. My preferred therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. I firmly believe that with the right tools, we can all overcome hardships, pain, and despair. My specialties include depression, anxiety, life transitions, career counseling, chronic illness/ disabilities and relationship issues.
