Three words which describe my therapeutic style are: genuine, non-judging, and compassionate. I will collaborate with you in a safe and judgement-free space. Through our work together, I can assist you in building coping strategies, gaining insight, and building confidence through a strength prospective lens. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to enter therapy, but I am here to help walk you through the process at whatever pace seems best for your personal growth. I feel that my upbringing and life experiences have shaped me into the therapist I am today. Being a person of color, I have learned to use my adversity as a strength to overcome any obstacle presented to me. I feel this understanding of self allows me to see another person’s view of themselves from a culturally sensitive perspective, which allows me to help them move from one stage of change to another. It is my hope that we could work together toward the goals you have for yourself.
