I lead off a cognitive behavioral therapeutic (CBT) approach. This approach supports my passion for helping others overcome negative thoughts (beliefs), patterns, and/or behaviors. My ultimate goal is to create a sound therapeutic relationship that will help each client reach their full potential and level of wholeness. My journey to becoming an LPC began after receiving my master's degree in psychology in 2012 while working in corporate America. I left my then-salaried position in 2013 to pursue a position with a mental health rehabilitation clinic, which led me to pursue my clinical mental health counseling degree and put me on the path to licensure. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with many clients of all ages. This path has also afforded me the opportunity to work with college students and college athletes helping them to understand who they are on their journey to becoming while overcoming the challenges of life to include mental blocks and/or challenges.
