For 14 years, I worked in the public school system as a special education teacher and behavior interventionist. Throughout that time, I found my love of helping people regulate big emotions. I am now a Licensed Professional Counselor who is fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and I utilize an integrative and holistic approach to therapy to help you become more in tune - mind, body, and soul. Together we will find out how your brain responds to different situations, and discover your ideal way to process, learn, and grow. I believe that we are all capable of change, and that things can -and will- get better. We are all way more capable than we give ourselves credit for, and I am here to help you rediscover that fire that waits inside. On a personal level, I am a HUGE swiftie and fan of any creative arts, and love to incorporate both into sessions whenever possible. I am an ally in all aspects, neuro-affirming, and a nonjudgemental safe space.
