I am a LCSW with experience working with individuals and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges.
My therapeutic style is a holistic approach with evidence based treatments (EBT) that are tailored to the presenting concern, personal history, and individual strengths. I am a therapist who talks during session, often providing feedback and perspective, while encouraging you to develop your own hypotheses and insights. You are the expert in you, while I serve as your guide in developing a deeper understanding of yourself.
During the sessions goals will be discussed to ensure focus and progress. Together we will also decide if we are a good "fit," as this is an imperative to the overall process.
