I am a graduate of St. John’s University School of Pharmacy and went on to complete a master’s in pharmacy administration. I also attended Queens College, where I earned my BA in Philosophy and an MS in Counseling Education. I am licensed in New York State as both a pharmacist and immunizer, as well as licensed in Connecticut. I hold a certificate in Medication Therapy Management, and I am also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State with certificates in Emotional Intelligence and as an ASHP Well-Being and Resilience Ambassador.
Before entering private practice as a licensed mental health counselor, I served as the Pharmacy Administrator for Sound Shore Medical Center—now Montefiore New Rochelle—where I oversaw eight entities, including outpatient pharmacies, long-term care facilities, inpatient hospital pharmacies, and the Westchester Department of Health’s outpatient clinics and prison system. During my tenure, I implemented several clinical and automated services and served as a preceptor for multiple pharmacy schools, most notably St. John’s University, where I was also a member of the experiential board.
In my private practice, I currently serve two communities as an LMHC and act as a clinical supervisor for Queens College. I have also been a guest lecturer for ASHP and several other organizations.
