My name is Toccara G. Jones. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); I have experience providing supportive counseling to individuals, families, and groups from middle childhood through late adulthood with presenting concerns of trauma, substance use, grief, and serious mental illness. I use Person-Centered Therapy along with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to explore, address, and challenge underlying issues causing distress and maladaptive behaviors. I believe that people are equipped with unique strengths and are innately resilient in overcoming their presenting concerns.
