I’m a licensed psychologist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. My background includes extensive work at the intersection of physical and mental health, with special expertise in helping people impacted by cancer, chronic pain, and chronic illness. During my years of service at the VA, I also developed a specialty in couple therapy while directing the Couples and Family Mental Health Program at VA San Diego.
With individuals, I help clients navigate concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, and life transitions using evidence-based and compassionate approaches. With couples, I take a stance of bi-directional neutrality, meaning I don’t take sides. Instead, I help partners shift away from cycles of blame and toward deeper understanding, empathy, and connection.
Clients describe my style as engaged, attuned, wise, and collaborative. My goal is to create a safe and respectful space where you can explore what matters most, clarify your values, and strengthen both personal well-being and relationship health.
