I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University in Florida. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision with a specialization in Trauma and Crisis, further deepening my expertise in helping individuals navigate and heal from life’s challenges. My counseling approach is rooted in a grief and loss lens, utilizing trauma-informed care to create a safe, trusting environment where healing can take place. I have extensive experience working with children and families who have faced traumatic events, employing the Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) approach to strengthen relationships and foster recovery. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking new recipes, traveling, spending time with my daughters and dogs, and supporting other clinicians in private practice through monthly reflective practice groups.
