I believe in the human ability to heal, to change, to transfer her/himself. My job is to facilitate that transformation; and to allow the client to become the version of themselves they want to be. By providing a judgment-free zone and space to heal, I teach clients skills such as emotional freedom therapy (EFT), mindfulness, acceptance, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and help them on the path to restoring autonomy, ability, values, and hope. I have experience working with people suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and gambling. I have also worked for many years with refugees who came from war-torn countries. With this background, I can assess and provide individualized goals for my clients to support their healing. I aim to support the client's efforts in transitioning into healthier, stronger, and joy-filled lives.
