I was led into the counseling profession during my years in youth and family ministry within the church. God broke my heart over the suffering I witnessed within families due to various types of dysfunction. As a result, I felt called to pursue counseling credentials in order to specialize in full-time counseling ministry. I have the distinction of being dually qualified as both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Indiana and an ordained minister. EMDR can gently reprocess painful experiences so they no longer hold the same power. Mindfulness and connectedness help you stay grounded and present as you heal. My hope is that therapy feels like a safe, accepting space where you can rest, reflect, and grow. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin — you just have to start.
